YES PLEASE UK TOUR
Sadly this tour would be the end of an era for the Mondays as it was to be their last tour before it all blew up and the band split the following year. They did however go out with a bang and put on some great gigs when most had written them off. Bez will always be memorable trying to do his usual dancing whilst his arm was hanging off lol

Press adverts for UK tour:
The first gig of the tour and this was a widely circulated bootleg back in the day. Nice to hear the new songs in the set list though I have to say and a complete flip on the usual set with playing Wrote For Luck as the opener instead of the huge finish as they had done for years before. Ticket provided by Scott Holland.

Press article hinting at the end of the band as the suggested '2 year break' would probably have never worked anyway.

Yeah I enjoyed the tour to be fair especially as there was a few new tunes added into the set list but i could tell at the time it seemed like the end of the line unfortunately. Just a shame they couldnt have held it together cos the tunes they were doing in the final session shown here https://www.happymondaysarchive.com/the-final-session were sounding good and add some of Shauns first black grape album to that and the Mondays could have had another great album. All ifs and buts now though! Fucking great band though, even when they were terrible lol
I went to the Manchester Free Trade Hall gig...it was good, but the vibe had gone.
