Cities In The Park, 4th Aug 1991
Another big summer event for the band seemingly at the peak of their powers, although I personally preferred the earlier shows. Still it was great to see the band doing so well and getting the recognition they deserved after so many years of hard work. The press always liked to paint the band as lucky chancers but they could not have been further form the truth, the Mondays always practiced hard and took it seriously.
There was a video released of the event highlights, something which should have also happened for the Elland Road show in my opinion.

T-shirts from the event. The one below is one of my favourite Mondays tees as the design is just great. There is actually a poster out there with a similar design but I have not even seen it anywhere since the first time I saw it decades ago now.
